Royston’s Deli invite you to celebrate their second birthday on Friday 17th September.
As a thank you to customers, proprietors Chris and Roxy are hosting a breadmaking workshop as part of
Organic Food Fortnight. A free bread demonstration, talk and tasting will start at 11am. There will also
be complimentary nibbles throughout the day.
Royston’s Deli lovingly produce handmade organic bread fresh every morning in their kitchen on
Eastgate, using local stoneground flour from Kirton-in-Lindsey’s Mount Pleasant Windmill. Baker Roxy
Warrick trained at Betty’s craft bakery in Harrogate and will share tips for successful breadmaking at
home.
Chris Royston said “We would like to thank our customers for their support over the last two years and
are proud to be supporting Organic Fortnight. We will continue to source the best local, ethical and
organic produce and cook with the finest ingredients.”
The Soil Association are encouraging people to ‘Choose Organic Everyday’ for Organic Fortnight 3rd -
17th September 2010. Now in its fifth year, Organic Fortnight is an annual campaign to raise awareness of
the benefits of organic food production. Organic is great for your well-being and your planet, is kind to
animals, wildlife and is GM-free.
